CFL Football Betting: BC Lions at Saskatchewan Roughriders

Canadian Football League (CFL) betting fans are in for a Western Division showdown Saturday afternoon (TSN, 5:30 ET) when the B.C. Lions (8-7) take on the Saskatchewan Roughriders (8-6-1) at Mosaic Stadium in Regina.

Over the last few years these two Western teams have created a rivalry that many would say is the best in the CFL. And with first place still up for grabs, this is a must-win for the Lions and the Riders.

Lions coach Wally Buono has every reason to believe in his team as they head down the stretch. B.C. (8-7) has won three straight games and four of its past five.

"I'm happier with the offensive line than I was six or seven weeks ago," said Buono. "We've made some tremendous progress. We're more physical, we're a better unit, we're more dominant, and we're a lot better football team and a lot better at the offensive line."

QB Casey Printers is expected to start for B.C., while Darian Durant will be starting QB for Saskatchewan.

Over at Bodog Sportsbook, the CFL odds on the Lions-Riders game favor Saskatchewan by -7. In order to win the season series, however, the Roughriders must beat the Lions by 15 points.
