British boxing champion Clinton Woods (41-3-1, 24 KOs) can't wait to fight Antonio Tarver (26-4, 19 KOs) to unify the IBF and IBO belts.
After bearing weeks of trash talk, the two fighters will finally step into the ring on Saturday, April 12 in Tampa, Fla.
Currently, Tarver is at -120 in the Bodog Sportsbook, while Woods isn't far behind at -110.
"I'm just confident I'll win the fight," Woods said during a recent conference call. "I predict I'll win it. I'll find a way, I always do. I'm looking forward to fighting a great fighter in Antonio Tarver."
Tarver, who starred as heavyweight champ Mason "The Line" Dixon in the 2006 film Rocky Balboa, has badgered his opponent mercilessly during press conferences and promises to deliver when the bell rings.
"I've got one mission in mind and that is to become undisputed light heavyweight champion," he explained to the media. "Once I take care of business on the 12th, I'll be one step closer to going out on top and being remembered as one of the best that ever did it. That's what I'm hell bent on achieving right now."
