Mississippi (16) is looking for respect when it plays Tennessee (8) in NCAA men’s basketball action tonight.
Despite not having a recognizable superstar, the Rebels are one of only six undefeated teams left in college basketball. They enter SEC play on 13-game winning streak, averaging 86.4 points per night behind the solid play of freshman guard Chris Warren.
Tennessee, on the other hand, is on everybody’s radar and has lost just once this season, a one-point squeaker to the Texas Longhorns. Senior guard Chris Lofton leads the Volunteers with 14.5 points per night.
Both teams are currently 5-4 against the spread, with bookmakers setting the over/ under for tonight’s affair in Tennessee at 165. Surprisingly, however, Tennessee is a heavy favorite, currently sitting at -9.
