At first glance, Sunday's game between top-ranked Kansas and UCLA looks like a great matchup between NCAA basketball powers, but in reality the Jayhawks should cruise and they have opened as big favorites on Bodog's college basketball odds.

These are not the Bruins you are used to seeing, as they are 2-4 (1-3 ATS), with losses to teams like Cal State Fullerton, Portland -- by 27, the biggest loss since Ben Howland took over in Westwood -- and Long Beach State. Frankly, the best game UCLA has played was also a loss, 69-67 to current No. 10 Butler. The Bruins also took a hit this week when sophomore forward Drew Gordon, who was averaging 11.2 points and 5.3 rebounds, left the program. However, top recruit Tyler Honeycutt could debut Sunday after sitting out all season because of a leg injury.

Kansas (6-0, 2-1 ATS) has had a weak schedule so far other than a 57-55 win over Memphis – this will be the Jayhawks' first true road game, and they have won their other five games by 30 points or more. Xavier Henry has been arguably the team’s MVP so far as a freshman. He leads Kansas in scoring and is the only KU player to score in double figures in every game. However, in the Jayhawks' lone close game against Memphis he struggled, shooting 3-for-11 and turning the ball over four times.

The stats show an expected blowout when making your college basketball bet at Bodog: The Jayhawks average 91.8 points per game (shooting 52.2 percent from the field) and are giving up 54.8 points, while the Bruins average 65.5 points (shooting just 26 percent from the 3-point arc) and give up 67.7. These two schools last met in the 2007 Elite Eight, but only three current players on both rosters saw time in that game.
