College Basketball Odds: Villanova vs. Seton Hall

The Villanova Wildcats will try to avoid falling to 0-2 in Big East league play tonight when they look for their seventh straight win over the Seton Hall Pirates, who are coming off a pair of blowout losses.

Starting slow in conference play is not new to Villanova backers. The Wildcats were 3-5 through eight Big East games in 2006-07, and 3-6 through nine conference contests last season. Both times, a late-season charge got them to the NCAA tournament.

Villanova has to feel good about their odds with the team's first trip into the Prudential Center since Seton Hall began play there last season. The Wildcats have won six in a row overall against the Pirates and are 5-0 ATS in the last five meetings in Seton Hall.

The Pirates' Jeremy Hazell ranks 13th in the nation in scoring with 22.9 ppg and in his last three games is averaging 29.0 points.
