College Basketball Picks: Georgetown at No. 14 Villanova

Villanova will be playing a Georgetown team desperate for a victory, so it will be important to stay focused. With three games remaining, the Hoyas are virtually assured of their spot in the bottom eight of the Big East. That means they will play on the first day of the Big East Tournament, which this year includes all 16 of the league’s teams.

The Hoyas have a talented frontcourt in center Greg Monroe and forward DaJuan Summers, but Villanova’s guards will test the quickness of their Hoya counterparts.

Villanova represents the Hoyas’ last chance at a marquee win before the Big East tourney. For this to happen Monroe will have to improve on his third-lowest rebounding total of the Big East season against Louisville, when he had five.
