College Basketball Picks: Michigan State at Illinois

The Michigan State Spartans look to move closer to their first Big Ten title in eight years when they host the Illinois Fighting Illini on Sunday.

Michigan State still plays Illinois and Indiana on the road before closing the season at home against the Boilermakers on March 8. The Spartans last took to the court on Wednesday night, when they played host to Iowa.

The Spartans and Fighting Illini last met on January 17, when Michigan State came away with a 63-57 victory. Goran Suton led the way for Michigan State in that victory, tossing in 12 points, while Raymar Morgan was good for eight points and eight rebounds.

Alex Legion scored a game-high 15 points for Illinois in that earlier loss, while Calvin Brock added 13 points. The Fighting Illini will finish off their regular season next Thursday at Penn State.
