The Houston Cougars (7-5 SU, 4-7 ATS) have the most explosive offense in the FBS at 575.1 yards per game, mainly through the air. The Air Force Falcons (8-4 SU, 7-4 ATS), ironically enough, do their damage on the ground at 268.9 yards per game, good for fifth in the nation. Since the betting public digs the long ball, it’s no surprise that Houston is a 3.5-point chalk on Wednesday.

The public also has a short memory. In Week 3, the Falcons went to Dallas, racked up an early lead on the Cougars and held on for a 31-28 victory as 2.5-point dogs on “neutral” ground.
