College Football Betting: Colorado Buffaloes at West Virginia Mountaineers

The Colorado Buffaloes are making their second trip East in three weeks for tonight's game against the West Virginia Mountaineers.

College football betting lines don't give Colorado much hope as they are pegged as 17-point underdogs.

The Buffaloes gave up 624 yards in a 54-38 loss at Toledo on Sept. 12. Cody Hawkins sustained a concussion after a helmet-to-helmet hit at the goal line on a late, meaningless touchdown. He didn’t miss any playing time and a week later directed four scoring drives in a 24-0 win over Wyoming.

The Mountaineers suffered a disappointing 20-17 overtime loss to Colorado last year in Boulder, the first meeting ever between the two schools.

WVU does hold a 10-9 all-time advantage over Big 12 teams.

Having a week off to prepare should give the Mountaineers a huge advantage considering all the travel Colorado has been doing.
