College Football Odds: Florida State at N.C. State

The Florida State Seminoles (4-1 SU, 2-1 ATS) hope to use the national stage to make an impression on the polls; for now, they’re on a list of about four teams waiting to crack the Top 25.

The Seminoles are 11-point road favorites for Week 8 against the North Carolina State Wolfpack (2-4 SU, 3-2 ATS), one of the ACC’s basement-dwellers. The Wolfpack are 6-0-1 ATS versus Florida State over the past seven years and won two of the last three games straight up. Both teams were idle last week.

This is NC State’s second season under coach Tom O’Brien. His offensive line is a mess this year, which is killing his power running attack and making it very hard for QB Russell Wilson to move the chains.
