If you’re going to bet college football this weekend (of course you are), make sure to get a handle on Saturday’s showdown between No. 9 Miami and No. 11 Virginia Tech.

It’s only early in the season, but the game has BCS implications written all over it. The Hokies were the frontrunners in the ACC, but a Week 1 loss at Alabama knocked them down a few pegs.

The Hurricanes, on the other hand, are in a prime position after upending Florida State and Georgia Tech to announce their presence to the rest of the conference – and the nation.

VT is priced as a 3-point dog, which is music to sharp bettors’ ears.
