College Football Odds: San Diego State at UCLA

A decision regarding the status of the UCLA Bruins’ season opener scheduled for Saturday afternoon against the San Diego State Aztecs has yet to be made.

UCLA personnel were informed of the current outlook and effects of the Station Fire on Pasadena by its city officials, Los Angeles County Fire Department, and Air Quality Management District representatives and a meteorologist. It is unknown when UCLA will make a decision about whether the game will be played.

If the game does get the go-ahead the Aztecs will be trying to break a horrible trend. SDSU has an 0-20-1 all-time record against the Bruins

UCLA is a hard to peg heading into the season. The defense looks stout and there is increased athleticism on offense. But how will redshirt freshman quarterback Kevin Prince and a young offensive line fare?

The Bruins are listed as 19-point favorites in this one.
