College Football Picks: Ball State at Central Michigan

The Ball State Cardinals (10-0 SU, 7-2 ATS) continue their quest for a BCS bowl Wednesday night when they travel to Mount Pleasant to face the Central Michigan Chippewas (8-2 SU, 6-3 ATS). (Wikimedia Image)"]

Ball State might be the best of the three remaining undefeated mid-majors. Brian Fremeau’s efficiency charts had the Cards rated No. 13 in the FBS going into Week 11, with Boise State No. 24 and Utah No. 25. But the Chippewas have a chance to render Ball State’s BCS case moot and take control of the MAC West with a win. Each team is 6-0 in conference play.

They may have similar records, but Ball State has taken each of its games by double digits, while CMU survived its last three by a combined seven points.
