Heading into this season, it is hard to imagine the Florida Gators not repeating as national champions, let alone conference champions. However, two other coaches who have won national titles, Nick Saban of the Alabama Crimson Tide and Les Miles of the   LSU Tigers, may have something to say about Urban Meyer’s quest for a third ring. Can Houston Nutt build on last year’s momentum and guide Ole Miss past Florida? Is Lane Kiffin all talk at Tennessee?

The Gators are listed at -300 to win the SEC and that is largely due to the team returning all eleven starters to a defensive unit that won a national championship.

The Crimson Tide (+300) lost their quarterback, top running back, and the core of the offensive line, but still have a defensive line the size of a mountain.

LSU and Mississippi are right there at +500 to win and ready to ruin a perfect season for the Gators.
