All the Arizona State Sun Devils realistically needed to do to get into this year’s national title game was beat either the Georgia Bulldogs at home or the USC Trojans on the road. And win all the rest of their games.

Change of plans. Arizona State’s 23-20 overtime loss to UNLV (+25) means that the Sun Devils almost certainly have to run the table. They must defeat the preseason No. 1 team in the nation as 7-point home dogs on Saturday. This is a tight line. Georgia just got through beating the South Carolina Gamecocks 14-7 as a 7-point road fave.

This has the potential to be a blowout with all those injuries to the Sun Devils defense. Although Georgia is also hurting a bit, that potential makes the Bulldogs our pick for this matchup.
