\"DonkeyBomber\" Living Up To Name at Indiana WSOP Circuit Event

Well, you can't say we didn't warn you. 2007 WSOP Player of the Year Tom "DonkeyBomber" Schneider cruised his way through Day 1 of the WSOP Circuit event at Caesars Indiana yesterday, ruining the day for many hopeful amateur players. He currently sits in third behind chip leader and obvious mob boss* Vito Cassulo Jr. and online poker player Bryan "squirelly1" Sapp in second.

Online poker phenom Chad "lilholdem954" Batista was not able to translate his huge success online recently into success in a live tournament and busted out early after buying in late.  The same was true for Ari "BodogAri" Engel and poker pro Bill Edler who both hit the rail.

One of the players who will be joining Schneider for Day 2 is recognizable in a completely non-poker type of way. Coach Denny Crum was the head coach of the University of Louisville basketball team from 1971-2001, delivering two NCAA championships during his tenure. It would appear that he has found a new hobby but will need some help to be as successful as he was at Louisville as he is just a few spots from the bottom of the leaderboard at the moment.

Play is already underway and will continue until the final nine are set for the final table tomorrow. Live updates are available from PokerListings.com and PokerNews.com
