Fantasy Baseball Players Beware: Kelvim Escobar to Have Career-Threatening Shoulder Surgery

Los Angeles Angles’ right-handed pitcher Kelvim Escobar is out for the season, and quite possibly the rest of his career, with a tear in his shoulder.

Escobar was an 18-game winner last season with a 3.40 ERA and 160 strikeouts. He joins John Lackey among the Angels’ pitchers on the DL.

"I'm concerned, I don't know what's going to happen, I don't even know if I'll be able to pitch again," Escobar told the LA Times.
