Fighters Make Weight for Sho XC Event in Atlantic City

All of the fighters competing on the Sho XC event on Friday, Jan. 25 in Atlantic City, N.J. have made weight.

Competitors gathered at the Trump Taj Mahal to step on the scales.

For the main event, former Bodog Fight champ Eddie Alvarez (11-1-0) weighed in at 164.9-pounds. His opponent Ross Ebanez (16-5-0) weighed slightly less at 164.8-pounds.

"This is going to be a great fight," Alvarez told MMAweekly.com at the weigh-ins. "Style-wise, I look at Ebanez and he reminds me of me. With two fighters who like to come forward and give their all, the fans are in for a treat."

"For me, career-wise, this is quite an accomplishment," Ebanez replied. "This is a tremendous fight for the fans. I’m ready to go, and I know he feels the same way. I have fought all kinds, though, so I doubt he is going to present me with any situations that I have never seen before. I am very confident."

Alvarez is currently the -450 favorite to win in the Bodog Sportsbook.
