A sad thing happened in the NFL on Monday, June 25. The New York Giants waived the fattest quarterback in NFL history, Jared Lorenzen AKA the Hefty Lefty.

Lorenzen made watching preseason Giants games interesting, as he was the backup to Eli Manning. Watching his 285-pound (yes, he's that fat) roll around the field in the third and fourth quarter was a joy. Imagine Warren Sapp playing QB and you'll get a glimpse of what Lorenzen was like.

With Lorenzen gone Manning, Anthony Wright, David Carr and rookie Andre Woodson are the quarterbacks.
