Grappler vs. Striker on Bodog Fight: The Vault

Grappler David Overfield (left) faces off against striker Kwinn Davis.
On Saturday, Jan. 12, don't miss an all-new episode of Bodog Fight: The Vault, featuring Kwinn Davis (3-0) and David Overfield (9-3) in an action-packed lightweight bout.
Filmed in September 2007 at a Bodog Fight sponsored HOOKnSHOOT event in Evansville, Indiana, the crowd was cheering on the 21-year-old Overfield, a local submission specialist.
"You'd never know how good a fighter Overfield is by looking at him," says Bodog Fight commissioner and HOOKnSHOOT founder, Jeff Osborne. "He's paper thin and guys love to tease him about his physique, but it seems like the more trash they talk, the faster he beats them."
Overfield has his work cut out for him, though, as he faces the 19-year-old Davis. Fighting out of Madisonville, Kentucky, this young up-and-comer has an unorthodox style that keeps opponents on their toes before putting them on their backs.
"Davis is a good striker and has great kicking ability," says Osborne. "He'll be looking to prevent Overfield's takedown attempts and land kicks to the head."
