Joe \"Diesel\" Riggs Talks Fight at Strikeforce in Tacoma

Joe "Diesel" Riggs will fight Cory Devela at Strikeforce on Feb. 23
UFC veteran Joe Riggs is already thinking about his next fight and he hasn't even gotten into the cage yet.
Facing Cory Devela at Bodog Fight Presents Strikeforce at The Dome, Feb. 23 in Tacoma, Wash., Riggs says he took the match as a warm-up for another fight just around the corner.
"I wanted to get one fight in before I fight Joey "Dreamsmasher" Villasenor next month," he explains.
With another match waiting for him, Riggs says he plans to make quick work of Devela on Saturday night.
"That's the plan," he says. "Go in there and beat his lips off, then pick them up and make him kiss my ass afterwards."
Then Riggs says he plans on smashing the "Dreamsmasher".
"That's a good fight," he says. "I'm representing Strikeforce over at EliteXC and I think Joey's a really tough guy. It's just everything he does, I do better. I have better stand up. I'm a better wrestler. I have better jiu-jitsu. We both have big lead hooks so we'll see who lands first. I think I will, because I'm a lot faster than he is."
But first, of course, Riggs has to get past Devela.
"I just saw him," Riggs says. "He's tall and lanky, so we'll see what we can do with that. You never know what will happen. For the love of God, I was knocked out by Diego once upon a time."
