"The People's Warrior" Josh Burkman (20-4-0) has fought some of the best 170-pound fighters in the UFC, including Drew Fickett (31-5-0) and Karo Parisyan (25-4-0). With furious slams and good submission skills, he's a capable and dangerous welterweight fighter.

Mike "Quick" Swick (10-2-0) has traded strikes with some of the best middleweight fighters to step into the octagon, and has beaten both Joe Riggs (27-9-0) and David Loiseau (15-7-0). Now, following a crushing loss to Yushin Okami (21-4-0), Swick has decided to drop some weight and try his hand in Burkman's backyard.

Jan. 23 in Las Vegas, NV, Swick and Burkman will collide in the main event of UFC Fight Night. To get past Swick, Burkman will have to watch for his dangerous hand-speed, as well as his trademark "Swick-o-tine" submission hold. For Swick, the right strategy might be to use his reach advantage to keep Burkman at bay and look to land the knockout strike.

Also on the card, Canadian Patrick "The Predator" Cote (11-4-0) fights Drew McFedries (5-2-0), while Brazilian killing machine Thiago Tavares (16-1-0) faces Japan's Michihiro Omigawa (4-4-0).
