If Kurt Warner is going to lead his Arizona Cardinals to a win in the Super Bowl, he’ll need to abide by these 10 commandments:
- Avoid turning the ball over. Warner has not coughed one up yet in the playoffs.
- Have a successful opening play. Warner is listed at -200 to complete his first pass attempt.
- Throw to Larry Fitzgerald as much as possible.
- Pray that the offensive line keeps the Steelers D in check.
- Stay cool in the pocket.
- Score first. Super Bowl teams scoring first are 27–15, 14-7 on a TD.
- Embrace the role of being a 7-point underdog.
- Keep the offense rolling. Teams that score more than 32 points are 18-0 straight up.
- Don't get sacked. In the last 13 Super Bowls, the sack leader has won 12 of those games.
- Maintain QB rating. If Warner maintains his current rating and wins, it would be the seventh-highest rating of all time.
