Moments after cementing a trade that netted them Ray Allen in exchange for Delonte West, Wally Szczerbiak and their No. 5 pick, the Boston Celtics selected Georgetown standout Jeff Green.

He won't be joining his 'surnamesake' Gerald Green in Boston however; he was quickly informed that he'll be shipped out to Seattle as the key ingredient in the Jesus Shuttlesworth deal. Don't get too attached to that Celtics draft cap, Jeff.
