LSU Tops Alabama 41-34

Chad Jones caused a key fumble late in the game and Jacob Hester cashed in minutes later with the winning touchdown, and third-ranked LSU topped Alabama 41-34 in a thriller at Bryant Denny Stadium.
Alabama head coach Nick Saban was facing the Tigers for the first time since leaving LSU in 2004 and returning to the collegiate level this season.
Matt Flynn struggled early but ended with 353 yards passing and three touchdowns for the Crimson Tide, which has now won five straight over Alabama. Hester ended with two rushing touchdowns, while Early Doucet hauled in two TDs.
John Parker Wilson went 14-of-40 for 234 yards with three touchdowns and an interception for LSU, who had won three straight coming in.
