After winning their matches at Mark Cuban's HDNet Fights event on Dec. 15 in Dallas, TX, Jason "Mayhem" Miller (20-5-0) and Frank "Twinkle Toes" Trigg (16-6-0) are on a collision course in '08.

Miller avenged a Feb. '03 decision loss to Tim Kennedy (9-2-0) by ending Kennedy's 8-fight winning streak, which had spanned over six years. Miller won a unanimous judges decision after 3 rounds of 5 minutes.

While Miller had a tough time with Kennedy, Trigg dispatched UFC veteran Edwin "Babyface" Dewees (34-11-0) with relative ease. At the start of the match, Trigg stalked Dewees around the cage looking for a takedown. Slipping, Trigg fell to his back and Dewees sprung on the fallen wrestler. Quicky, though, Trigg locked on a kimura shoulder lock and reversed the position. From the top position, Trigg kept the submission hold on and finished the fight at 1:40 in the first round.

Other winners included UFC veterans Yves Edwards (31-13-1) and Pete "The Secret Weapon" Spratt (17-10-0) as well as former IFL heavyweight Krzysztof Soszynski (13-8-1) who won his first match at 205-pounds when his opponent was disqualified for refusing to fight.
