MLB Baseball Betting: Red Sox at Tigers

Boston's 5-1 victory Tuesday made Francona the third manager to win 500 games with the Red Sox, joining Joe Cronin and Mike Higgins.

Beckett is 2-0 with a 1.23 ERA in his last three starts after posting a 7.22 ERA through his first five outings. The righthander is 1-1 with a 4.15 ERA in two career starts against the AL Central-leading Tigers, who have scored three runs or fewer in four of their last five games.

Armando Galarraga, who went 0-5 with an 8.49 ERA in six starts last month, will get the start for the Tigers. Galarraga has faced the Red Sox once, giving up five runs and seven hits during a 10-9 Tigers loss last season.
