The New York Yankees will be looking to climb back to .500 when A.J. Burnett makes his first start against his former team tonight in Toronto, where Roy Halladay will also be on the hill when the clubs open a three-game set.

Burnett is off to an uneven start for New York, which ranks 29th in the majors with a 5.79 staff ERA despite signing Burnett and CC Sabathia in the offseason.

Nine different pitchers have started at least two games for Toronto already, but the Blue Jays have a respectable 4.11 ERA. Halladay remains the anchor, and he allowed one run in eight innings of Wednesday's 13-1 victory over the Los Angeles Angels.

The -140 favored Blue Jays still have something to prove despite the AL's best record, as they've yet to face any of the AL East's presumptive top contenders.

Halladay is 15-5 with a 2.86 ERA in his career against the Yankees.
