Carl Pavano tries for a third straight victory while looking to help the Cleveland Indians to a second straight road win over the Toronto Blue Jays tonight at Rogers Centre.

Since going 0-3 with an 8.85 ERA in his final four starts of June, Pavano is 2-0 with a 2.45 ERA in July.

Pavano is 2-3 with a 5.45 ERA in seven starts versus the Blue Jays, who had won two in row coming into this set.

The Indians, who are 3-3 against the Blue Jays in 2009, get their first look at Toronto rookie Ricky Romero in this contest.

Romero allowed four runs and five hits while walking five in 4 1-3 innings of a 4-1 loss to Boston on Friday. The lefthander was 4-0 with a 2.28 ERA in his previous six starts since losing at Texas on June 11.
