MLB Betting Lines: Astros at Cardinals

St. Louis looks to extend its advantage in the NL Central as it tries to win its fifth straight home series against the Houston Astros starting tonight.

The Cardinals, opening a nine-game homestand, have won five straight series at Busch Stadium, going 12-4 during that span. St. Louis has won four consecutive home series versus Houston since the teams split a four-game set in 2007.

Cardinals scheduled starter Adam Wainwright has pitched very well in St. Louis this season, posting a 2.02 ERA in 14 starts, but going 5-6 in those games. Wainwright is 1-1 with a 1.50 ERA in two starts against Houston this year.

Wandy Rodriguez takes the mound for Houston, which begins a nine-game trip. The lefthander has gone 7-1 with a 2.38 ERA in his last 11 starts.

The Cardinals are 5-4 against the Astros this year.
