MLB Playoffs Odds: NLDS Rockies vs. Phillies Game 1

In 2007, the streaking Wild-Card Colorado Rockies swept the Philadelphia Phillies. This round, Ryan Howard & Co. should get their revenge.

The World Series champions boast an AL-style scary lineup, boosted by Raul Ibanez and Jayson Werth. Lefties Cliff Lee and Cole Hamels are a good bet to shut down Troy Tulowitzki and the middle of Colorado’s order.

The one area where the Rockies could take advantage is Brad Lidge and Philadelphia’s bullpen. At least that could make for some adventuresome endings.

The Phillies are 4-2 against the Rockies this season, winning two of three games in both series between the teams. The clubs haven't met since early August at Citizens Bank Park.

However, it should be noted that Colorado owns the second-best record in the majors at 72-38 since June 4, just behind the New York Yankees.

The Phillies are 7-0 in their last seven playoff home games.
