MLB Spring Training Odds: Grapefruit League Schedule

Can’t wait for the Cactus League to begin on Wednesday? Don’t—the Grapefruit League schedule opens on Tuesday. Grapefruit League teams include the Braves, Orioles, Red Sox, Tigers, Mariners, Astros, Twins, Mets, Yankees, Phillies, Pirates, Cardinals, Rays, Blue Jays and Nationals.

The Pirates and Tigers are in action against non-pro teams, but the first MLB Spring Training game takes place between the Braves and Mets at 1:10 p.m. ET.

The Yankees will wait until Wednesday to start their season, when they take on the Pirates. The Red Sox won’t face an MLB team until Thursday, when they take on the Twins.

A rematch of the World Series will be played on Thursday, with the defending champion Yankees taking on Philly in its Spring Training opener (1:05 p.m. ET). They play each other five times in Grapefruit League action.

The final game of Grapefruit League play is Saturday, April 3 at 4:05 p.m. ET - the Red Sox visit the Nationals.
