MMA News: Julie Kedzie Wins at Hook N Shoot

Julie Kedzie beat Jan Finney by TKO in Evansville, Ind. on Sept. 29.

With Bodog Fight cameras on location to capture the action, top-ranked female fighter Julie Kedzie (9-6-0) continued her impressive winning streak with a TKO victory over the tough and durable Jan Finney (3-5-0) at Hook N Shoot in Evansville, Indi. on Sept. 29. Although the fight was originally scheduled to be a title match, Finney could not make the 135-pound weight limit and the bout was changed to a non-title fight.

In a middleweight tournament, John Troyer (5-0-0) beat Andy Fink (0-1-0) by armbar and Joseph Baize (8-6-0) by TKO to reach the final round, where he took out Bodog Fight veteran Scott Henze (20-12-2) by submission.

In other action, John Turner (1-0-0)won by unanimous decision over Matt Troyer (1-1-0) to regain his featherweight belt.
