MMA News: Kyacey Uscola vs. Chael Sonnen

Mixed martial arts knockout artist Kyacey "Ice Cold" Uscola (17-13-0) says he's looking forward to fighting Chael Sonnen (19-8-1) in the main event of "Bodog Fight Presents Sportfight XX: Homecoming," on Oct. 27 in Portland, Ore.

Coming off a loss in his last fight, Uscola says defeat left a bad taste in his mouth.

"I took a bad shot in the balls," he explains. "I had the full mount and went for an armbar but he slipped off and caught me with a good shot. It wasn’t a good showing for sure but I plan to redeem myself."

To prepare for Sonnen, Uscola says he's trained harder than ever.

"This last fight pissed me off a little bit," he explains, "so I trained 8-weeks hardcore for this fight with Ken Shamrock and his team. I’ve been working submissions off the bottom a lot to neutralize him and help me get back into my feet. I’ve got a few tricks for him up my sleeve. I think I’ll catch him. I’m ready for Chael."
