MMA News: Predictions for UFC 77: Hostile Territory

I wonder what Tourism Ohio thinks about UFC 77: Hostile Territory? After all, the octagon might attract swarms of "octagonites" to their state, each one ready to throw away their money on mismatched "Maine-iac" brand temporary tattoos so they can look like their hero Tim Sylvia. But, from the looks of the UFC 77 website, the city of Cincinnati, Ohio has been taken over by the set designer for Escape from New York, starring Kurt Russell.

Also, exactly for whom is the territory hostile? Former champion Rich Franklin lives there, so they could just as easily have called it UFC 77: It's Good to Be Home. Why didn’t they? Because that would too clearly reveal their terrible manifesto, as would calling it UFC 77: Hey Anderson Silva, F*ck You!

In case you haven't figured it out, the UFC wants Franklin to be the champion, which is why they're giving him a rematch in his backyard. That way, they can put him in Xyience commercials again, where he can nod and wink suggestively at young women in his math class. Meanwhile, they can keep Silva around as the Portuguese-speaking spokesmodel for their new Brazilian-strength roach and spider spray.
