UFC Lightweight champion Sean Sherk (33-3-0) will have to wait another two weeks to hear the results of his appeal.

Appearing in front of the California State Athletic Commission on Friday, Sherk's attorney Howard Jacobs submitted a brief of the evidence he would be presenting today. Somehow, however, the brief was either not distributed properly or not given proper attention by the complete membership of the CSAC.

After some heated discussion, Sherk's case was put back on hold until Nov. 13 so the commission could have time to look over the information.

On July 19, Sherk tested positive for nandrolone metabolite and was fined $2,500. He was also suspended from fighting for 365 days total. His appeal was approved on Aug. 5, and his hearing was originally scheduled for today.
