Bodog Fight middleweight champion Trevor Prangley (16-4) thinks the Strikeforce middleweight tournament on Nov. 16 might be the toughest test of his career.
Riding a 5-fight winning streak, Prangley will fight for the title against Falaniko Vitale (24-7-0), Yuki Sasaki (21-13-1) and Jorge Santiago (14-7-0) and while some consider him the favorite to win, he's not so sure about it.
"This is a good tournament, definitely not going to be a walk over...it's up for grabs," he tells Bloody Elbow.
To prepare himself for the competition, Prangley says he's taken his training more seriously than ever. "My training has been going excellent," he says. "I feel that my cardio has been an issue in the past and that is why I'm working so hard, training twice a day. The goal is to get the guy out of the first fight quickly and have as much energy as possible for the last fight."
