More Fights Added to Card for UFC 83 in Montreal

UFC matchmakers have added more fights to the card for UFC 83: Serra vs. St. Pierre 2, scheduled for Saturday, April 19 in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.

Coming off a victory over Canadian Joe Doerksen (39-11-0) at UFC 78: Validation in November of 2007, Team Quest fighter Ed Herman (14-5-0) will take on Brazilian jiu-jitsu champion Demian Maia (6-0-0).

Australian Brad Morris (8-2-0) will also compete, stepping into the octagon for the first time to fight Cain Velasquez (2-0-0). Both fighters are coming off wins in Bodog Fight events, with Morris earning a TKO victory over Kristof Midoux (6-10-0) at Bodog Fight: Vancouver, and Velasquez beating Jeremiah Constant (5-3-0) by TKO at Bodog Fight: St. Petersburg.

Odds for UFC 83 are now up in the Bodog Sportsbook. In the main event, former welterweight champion Georges St. Pierre (15-2-0) is the -450 favorite to beat current champ Matt Serra (9-4-0).
