NBA 2009-10 Season Predictions: Eastern Conference

Time to make those predictions and jump on some NBA futures odds.

The Eastern Conference has improved this year with the Washington Wizards getting their team back, the Toronto Raptors acquiring Hedo Turkoglu, and even the Orlando Magic, Cleveland Cavaliers, and Boston Celtics adding players to make them even better.

The conference crown could go to anyone in the top four, with NBA odds listing the Cavs as the +125 favorite.

The teams that will be trying to make some noise and jump into the top group of power teams will be the Detroit Pistons, Atlanta Hawks, and Chicago Bulls.

Everyone is expecting the Magic, Cavs, and Celtics to run away and battle it out for top spot, but you just know there will be surprise that few will bet on.

Just looking at how things stack up on paper, the Wizards (+2500) have the talent to really make a run. But can they avoid injuries?
