NBA Basketball Odds: Detroit at Boston

Boston has skidded to a slump over the last week or so, but the Celtics get a chance to undo some damage against the lowly Detroit Pistons on Monday night.

The Celtics (25-39-1 on NBA basketball odds) have lost three of their past four games after Sunday’s 104-93 loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Ray Allen paced Boston with 20 points against the Cavs. Rajon Rondo chipped in with 16 points and led the team with eight boards and six assists.

Detroit (28-35-3 ATS) has just two wins in its last 10 games. It lost 112-99 to Atlanta on Saturday; Jason Maxiell dropped 19 points and 12 rebounds in a losing effort.

The Pistons and Celtics have split two meetings this season, with Boston winning 105-100 a few weeks ago. Rondo had a double-double with 15 points and 11 assists. Jonas Jerebko had 16 points and 10 rebounds for Detroit.
