NBA Basketball Odds: L.A. Lakers at Boston

This is the game everyone wants to see. There’s never a dull moment when the Los Angeles Lakers (39-9 SU, 25-23 ATS) and the Boston Celtics (41-9 SU, 28-22 ATS) lock horns. The Celtics are out for blood after losing their Christmas Day battle at Staples Center. Andrew Bynum is not available for the rematch after last week’s knee injury; Kevin Garnett has missed the last two games with the flu, but will presumably be in uniform with the Lakers in town. Boston was 2-0 SU and 0-2 ATS without him.

The folks at TNT have this contest leading off their usual Thursday doubleheader, so we’ll be on the scene with live betting throughout the night. Kobe Bryant has added to his workload to compensate for Bynum’s absence; he scored 61 points Monday against the Knicks and another 36 Tuesday in Toronto. The Lakers went 2-0 SU and ATS.
