It will be interesting to see if the Lakers are road weary at all, as they will also be playing their fourth game in five days. Before facing Memphis on Monday the Lakers lost back-to-back games to Miami and Orlando, which were their first back-to-back losses of the season.
The Hornets are rolling heading into their date with the Lakers. New Orleans knocked off Sacramento 99-90 on Saturday night to record their fourth win in a row. Chris Paul unleashed a season-high 34 points on the Kings and had an incredible eight steals in the win.
In their lone matchup with the Lakers this season the Hornets lost 93-86 as a 1.5-point home favorite. Paul was a force in the loss with 30 points, seven rebounds, and 13 assists, but Bryant and Derek Fisher netted 20 points each to pace the Lakers to the win.
