NBA Basketball Odds: New Orleans at Phoenix

A matchup of point guards could be key, especially depending on Chris Paul’s health, when the Phoenix Suns are welcomed home by what should be a very appreciative crowd tonight as they take on the New Orleans Hornets.
NBA basketball betting odds have the Suns listed as 6.5-point favorites.
Paul twisted his left ankle shortly before halftime Monday night but returned in the third quarter to lead New Orleans to a 112-84 win over the Los Angeles Clippers. He had a big bag of ice on the ankle after the game, and the injury could potentially hamper him tonight.
Nash has been at his best recently. He’s leading the league with 12.6 assists per game and is coming off the NBA’s first 20-point, 20-assist game since he did it Jan. 2, 2006.
Youth has won out lately when these star point guards have met, with New Orleans winning six of the last seven matchups.
