Two winning streaks will be put on the line Tuesday night when Tim Duncan and the San Antonio Spurs pay a visit to Dwyane Wade and the Miami Heat.
Miami (35-32, 35-31-1 on NBA basketball odds) has won three straight and is 6-1 in its last seven games. The Heat topped Philadelphia 104-91 on Sunday.
D-Wade was his typically brilliant self, racking up a team-high 38 points in the win. Udonis Haslem had a double-double with 13 points and 12 boards off the bench.
The Spurs (39-25, 33-30-1ATS) have been just as good, winning three consecutive games and going 7-1 in their past eight outings. Matt Bonner scored 21 points in Saturday’s 118-88 romp over the Clippers.
San Antonio crushed Miami 108-78 in their only meeting this year. Duncan racked up 23 points and 10 rebounds in the victory, while Miami’s Michael Beasley poured in 26 points in the loss.
