The Kings, who are 17-point underdogs, carry an 0-19 mark against Eastern Conference teams and a 1-16 record in their last 17 visits to TD Banknorth Garden.

Few matchups in the NBA would seem as one-sided on paper with the Celtics looking to win their ninth in a row and the defensively-inept Kings having allowed an average of 115.5 points during their six-game losing streak.

In their last meeting, the Celtics won by 45 points as the Kings made just 19 field goals in the game.

Boston will play without reserve Brian Scalabrine, but the way the Kings are playing they can probably get away with playing without Kevin Garnett, Paul Pierce, and Ray Allen too.
