NBA Futures: Odds to Win the 2010 NBA Championship

Only a few days left until the new NBA season starts. While you scramble to get the best players in your fantasy draft, why not check out some futures odds as well.

The Los Angeles Lakers are the -200 favorites to repeat as World Champs. This is not a shocker. Kobe Bryant and company will only be stronger now that they have added Ron Artest to the mix.

The big question for NBA bettors is who can knock them off?

The two main challengers are the Cleveland Cavaliers (+333) and the Boston Celtics (+400). This season the Eastern Conference is much deeper top to bottom and it may make it hard for the top teams to keep up with L.A. in the regular season.

Denver (+1500) and San Antonio (+750) are solid bets in the West but they just don't have what it takes to dump the Lakers from the top.
