NBA Lines: Boston at Dallas

The Boston Celtics have been stuck in neutral since losing to the Lakers - again. But they finally pulled away from the New Orleans Hornets on Wednesday night, winning 89-77 as 7.5-point road favorites. Now the C’s (43-11 SU, 30-24 ATS) have to make the trip from the Big Easy to Big D to face the Dallas Mavericks (31-20 SU, 24-27 ATS), who were idle Wednesday.

Dallas has won six of its last seven games at 5-2 ATS, including Tuesday’s 118-100 dismantling of visiting Sacramento (+10.5). That was the Mavs’ first game without Jason Terry, who is out indefinitely with a broken left hand. Jose Juan Barea moved up in the depth chart and provided 10 points and four assists with zero turnovers. Antoine Wright also had 23 points in 24 minutes. But that was the Kings; Boston is 3-0 SU and ATS against Dallas in the Kevin Garnett Era.
