NBA News: Rip Hamilton Out for Opener

Detroit Pistons guard Richard Hamilton will miss the team's season opener at Miami on Thursday because of a family emergency and rookie Arron Afflalo was expected to start in his place.
Hamilton might rejon the Pistons in Orlando on Friday, coach Flip Saunders said.
Detroit won two of three games between the teams last season and split two games in Miami. The Pistons are -5 favorites in their contest versus the Heat. Pistons play the Heat tonight at 8:05 p.m. ET on TNT.
