After dispatching the New Orleans Hornets in five games, the Denver Nuggets move on to face the Dallas Mavericks in a series that should be fast-paced and entertaining.

Adding to the Nuggets’ already-high confidence level is a 4-0 record against the Mavericks during the regular season.

Thanks to the home-court advantage and a comfortable matchup against Dallas, the Nuggets are not shy about thinking big. With Billups running the point and Anthony enjoying a breakout postseason, the Nugs believe they can reach the Western Conference Finals and maybe even the NBA Finals.

Josh Howard might be the biggest reason the Mavericks are getting ready to play the Nuggets in a second-round playoff series. Since Howard’s latest return from a bum ankle, the Mavs are 11-3, matching the Lakers for best in the NBA.
