The Phoenix Suns had momentum the entire contest, but once again we learn to never count out the San Antonio Spurs.
Manu Ginobli lead the Spurs with 19 points, Tim Duncan had 16 and Jaques Vaugh, who was in for an injured Tony Parker, had 17 points as the Spurs beat the Suns 84-81.
The Suns were leading the contest 60-55 after three quarters, and seemed in control of a San Antonio team who were having a poor shooting night. But the Spurs turned things up in the fourth, and beat them in fourth 29-21 to gain the victory.
Shawn Marion led the Suns with 21 points and 10 rebounds, while Steve Nash struggled from the field. The two-time MVP was 6-18 from the field and just 2-9 from three-point land.
The Spurs covered as 8.5-point underdogs in the contest.
